Board of Zoning Appeals
We currently have a vacancy on our Board of Zoning Appeals
The duties of the BZA are to review variance requests for property improvements within the corporate limits of the Town of Syracuse. The BZA normally meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6pm at the Syracuse Town Hall.
This is a non-paid volunteer position.

Cannot be an elected official

Facade Grant Program
The program is now open and accepting applications! Please visit the "Community" Tab on the left of the screen and click on "Commercial - Retail Facade" for information.
Water Towers
The north water tower is undergoing restoration. A tent is being constructed around the tower to mitigate spray as the tower is being sandblasted and repainted. The south tower by the High School will also be cleaned as part of this project.
Temporary Road Closures
High Street:
High Street will be closed between Huntington St (SR13) and the first alley west beginning the week of 4/1/24 and continuing for 1 - 2 works for crews painting the north Water Tower.
